What happens to the details you give me.
This site has one form, and it exists to arrange a phone call. Nothing here is collected for any other reason, and nothing is sold, shared or used to advertise to you.

Who is responsible
DexStudio, a UK sole trader, is the data controller for anything you submit through this site. One person reads it: the same person you have the call with. Questions, or any request below, go to contact@dexstudio.uk.
What is collected
What you type into the form:
Required, so I know who I'm calling.
Required. The call is the whole point.
Optional, a backup only if the call doesn't connect.
Required. One of five options, so the call starts in the right place.
Optional, up to 500 characters, whatever you choose to write.
Optional: mornings, afternoons or evenings.
And what is recorded automatically when the form is submitted:
Not the address itself. It is salted and hashed, and exists only to rate-limit the form to five submissions an hour. The original address is never written down.
Sent by your browser with every request. Kept alongside the enquiry to tell a real submission from a bot.
So I know which post or link brought you here. No profile is built from it.
No cookies, no analytics, no trackers
This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising tags, and loads no third-party scripts of any kind. There is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to. The two typefaces are served from this domain, so visiting the page sends no request to Google or anyone else.
Why I'm allowed to hold it
You filled in a form asking to be called about a possible piece of work, so the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. The spam controls (the IP hash and the user-agent) rest on legitimate interests: without them the form would fill with bot submissions within a week.
Where it goes
Your enquiry is written to a Google Firebase (Firestore) database on servers in the European Union, in a project used for nothing but this form. A copy is then emailed to me through Resend, an email delivery provider, so I see it without having to check a dashboard. Those two companies are the only processors involved. Nobody else receives it: no marketing platform, no CRM, no lead broker.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from our last contact, then deleted. If we end up working together, the records that belong to that contract are kept for as long as UK tax and accounting rules require. The rate-limiting hashes are overwritten on a rolling one-hour window and are never linked back to an enquiry.
What you can ask for
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold on you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what I do with it, or to object to my holding it at all. Email contact@dexstudio.uk and I'll action it. There is no form and no process to go through. Deletion is the easy one: say the word and the record goes.
Changes
If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, because I don't run one.
